We are pleased to announce Tetra Pak's acquisition of the assets of Scanima A/S, the Mixer Division, effective July 1, 2009. The Mixer Division of Scanima will henceforth be run under the name of Tetra Pak Scanima A/S from the existing site in Aalborg, Denmark. All the staff of the Scanima Mixer Division, 58 employees, have been transferred to Tetra Pak Scanima A/S, which will become part of Business Unit Dairy, Beverage and Prepared Food within Tetra Pak.

The Freezer Division of the former Scanima A/S will continue to operate under the new company name Scanico A/S.

As always, our priority is to provide you with the same great level of service and attention you have come to expect from both Scanima and Tetra Pak, which will be significantly reinforced by this acquisition.
